Brighton Pier, United Kingdom

Brighton Pier is an amazing place to visit for a short weekend and it is located in the south of London. It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to travel to Brighton by car and I would recommend to visit this place when you travel around London. It is free admission and tokens can be purchased from the ticket booth for rides and attractions. The rides are suitable for kids of all ages and it is a lovely place for family outing. Interestingly, the beach is not a sandy beach but a shingle beach with small pieces of pebbles and it is clean and can be crowded during the weekends. It was nice to have lunch by the beach and to enjoy some fish and chips.  I would love to visit this place again someday and definitely worth visiting. (Year 2008)
