Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, London

A wonderful place not to be missed during Christmas season in London is the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland which open daily from 10am to 10pm.  The night time atmosphere is the highlight when visitors could enjoy the beautiful glittering lights and the lovely Christmas decoration. Hyde Park is easy to reach and the nearest tube stations are Marble Arch, Green Park, Hyde Park Corner, Victoria and Knightsbridge. These tube stations are within walking distance to the Christmas Market.

The entry to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is free and the entire place is similar to a funfair with a number of interesting rides including roller coaster rides, UK’s largest open-air ice rink, live music and traditional wooden stalls selling Christmas decorations, handmade items, snacks, wine and more. The Winter Wonderland gets quite crowded during the weekend as thousands of visitors return each year to celebrate the Christmas season. (Year 2008)
