Weston Park Museum, Sheffield

Sheffield Weston Park Museum is a lovely museum that I would recommend if you happen to be visiting Sheffield and the admission is free. The museum is located not too far from Sheffield University and you could travel by tram to the nearest tram stop which is the University of Sheffield. From the tram stop, the museum is just within walking distance and majority of the students from the university will be able to provide you with the direction if you are not sure how to go about. Upon my arrival, the surrounding of the museum was covered with snow and I could not describe how much I enjoyed the beautiful site, the fresh air and the cold weather. The museum is small but it has many interesting and unique exhibits including some history of Sheffield that worth a visit. It is a family-friendly museum with interactive exhibits that are very suitable for young children. I was particularly attracted by the adorable wooden miniature sets and truly admire the fantastic workmanship! (Year 2010)
