Uluwatu Temple in Bali, Indonesia

Beware of the monkeys! Apart from the breathtaking view of the cliffs overlooking the Indian Ocean, the most memorable moments during my visit to Uluwatu Temple was witnessing the monkey snatching and breaking the glasses belong to a tourist. There were so many aggressive monkeys around and visitors are warned to beware of the monkeys because they would snatch anything.

Uluwatu Temple is one of the most beautiful places among the places that I have visited during my Bali trip. The location of the temple is magnificent and it is situated on a cliff top with amazing sea views. If you are planning on visiting Uluwatu Temple, do take note of the temple dress code and etiquette. Visitors must wear a top that covers the shoulders and a sarong before entering the temple. The purple sarongs are included in the entrance fee to the temple but for anyone who prefer to have their own sarong, sarongs are fairly inexpensive to purchase in Bali. I would highly recommend Uluwatu Temple to anyone and I would advise to be there early to avoid the extreme hot weather! (Year 2015)
